FEES

Fees for in-person and telehealth appointments:

  • Individuals: $250/session

  • Couples: $300/session

* A few sliding scale slots (reduced rate) may be available depending on need and availability.

* Sessions are usually 45-50 minutes (the first session may be longer).

TELEHEALTH:

  • Telehealth sessions are usually via Zoom, or phone) (please contact me to discuss the options).

  • Some insurance companies will not cover or reimburse for Out-of-Network telehealth sessions and thus patients may be responsible for the entire fee. Please check with your insurance company.

Cancellation Policy:
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 48 hours in advance, you will be charged for the full cost of the session. We will discuss this policy in detail during initial contact. You will also be provided with a written description of the cancellation policy for your information.

Questions?  Please feel free to contact me for further information.

Payment:

I accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover as well as Venmo, Apple Pay, personal checks or cash. Payment is made at the beginning of each session.

Insurance:

My practice is Self-Pay. However, if you have a PPO plan, I am an Out-of-Network provider and most PPO insurance plans partially reimburse for behavioral health treatment. I provide a receipt which includes procedural and diagnostic codes that can be submitted by you for partial reimbursement (many patients are reimbursed about 40-50% - you will need to check with your insurance carrier). Note that HMO plans do not allow for any Out-of-Network reimbursement. If you have Medicare supplemental insurance, you may also be eligible for partial reimbursement. Any use of insurance and subsequent reimbursement depends on your deductible, which can vary markedly from policy to policy. I strongly urge that you check with your insurance carrier about this. Please note that most deductibles reset on January 1.

NOTE: I do not accept HMO plans or MassHealth. Patients with an HMO plan are not eligible to use their insurance with me as their carriers require that they only use in-network providers. HMO patients are considered Self-Pay patients and responsible for the entire session fee.  Also, I do not accept Medicare insurance plans. Medicare patients are considered Self-Pay patients and responsible for the entire session fee.
